Physical Therapist Job in Hutchinson, KS – Physical Therapy by Phoenix is seeking an engaging and friendly outpatient Physical Therapist with a strong drive to deliver exceptional clinical care. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and guide patients through individualized rehabilitation programs focused on improving function, reducing pain, and promoting long-term wellness in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, plus eligibility for a monthly bonus program.
Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall quality of life. You will work one-on-one with patients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT)
- Current and active Kansas Physical Therapy license
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and identify movement or functional limitations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one care including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, goals, and progress
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery expectations
- Collaborate with referring providers and clinical team members
- Ensure informed consent and communicate treatment benefits, risks, and alternatives
- Discharge patients appropriately with follow-up recommendations or referrals
